What the 1980s Taught Us about the Power Of Mind
It doesn't take a genius to figure out the potential power of one's mind. Even back in the 1980s when the 'Say No to Drugs' campaign surfaced, people were trying to change problematic teen life into something better. Do you remember the old slogan, 'The mind is a terrible thing to waste,' and the accolades it received?
There were all kinds of anti-drug messages that hit both the radio and television airwaves throughout those 10 years. In fact, as the popularity progressed you could find billboards all around the highways that basically said, 'Say no to drugs' in one way or another. What we didn't know is how it was affecting the subconscious minds of these young teens. Eventually the drug use amongst teens started to subside or at least that's what the statistics showed us.
Take the Placebo Effect for instance. It's the most intriguing study out there today that looks into the subconscious mind. The way it works is the medical world finds about 10-20 people who have the same problem. Then they tell them they have medicine that is supposed to help the situation. The groups are then split into 2 sections, Group A & B. One of the groups is given the real medicine and the other is given a placebo.
Have you ever had the voice in your head telling you that what you are about to do will bring problems? It happens all the time, but only a few of actually listen. A great example is those of you who have road rage. Do you yell and scream at the individuals who are driving too slow in front of you? Does that inner voice say it's going to come back to haunt you? Most likely it will, even if it's 5 or 6 hours from now.
If you or someone you know has ever studied the laws of quantum physics, you will know that there really is no such thing as 'matter'. At subatomic levels everything is pure energy and matter only exists because we are observing it!
Would you believe everything is made of energy? If you do then it's much easier to understand the power behind the subconscious mind like ESP, telepathy, levitations, and several physic abilities. However, you don't need to get this deep into it. All you need to do is take advantage of the surrounding energy and use it to change your life.
In fact everything, including 'supernatural powers' can be explained in terms of quantum physics. Your mind creates the spiritual, the physical, and the philosophical. The power of your mind creates matter by manipulating energy.
Are you ready to get started? Great, all you need is a goal. Even though you may want to jump on those big picture needs, we always recommend starting out with something small. It could be anything from getting caught up on your house work, to picking one of your smaller bills to be paid by an extra income. Whatever the case may be, you have to have something to work towards.
It's also important to understand that people use the power of the mind everyday. Most notably are people like Donald Trump, Bill Gates, and other celebrities who didn't always have everything given to them. What it comes down to is they went out and took what was theirs. However, it doesn't have to be a celebrity to see who uses the power within the subconscious mind. Just look at some of your co-workers and you'll be able to tell who does and who doesn't.
Just think if you could influence your mind to quit smoking, lose weight, make more money, or by that dream home. They are all great things to think about right? Sure, but don't let it stop with self-improvement. Maybe you want to take the family on that long needed vacation or just get a new set of tires for your worn out vehicle. Obviously you're going to have to organize your life a little, but with constant affirmation it will keep you motivated throughout the entire process.
We could give you so many examples it could take up a whole other article. The point is you can do whatever you want to do if you put your mind to it. You've probably heard this many times before, but without the knowledge of understanding the way it works you overlooked the meaning. So find yourself a goal and give yourself the affirmation needed to make it happen.
What it comes down to is that you can train your mind yourself, or let someone else do it for you. We recommend taking the first route and controlling your own destiny. In the end you'll find all kinds of power within the subconscious mind. All we need to help you do right now, is get started.
