Can Everyone Use The Power Of Mind?
Years ago society was introduced to a long line of commercials to help teens stay away from drugs. The main goal was to penetrate the subconscious mind and let them know, 'The mind is a terrible thing to waste.' It worked and even though the 60s and 70s were the mainstay for drugs, in the eighties those numbers diminished. All because we were able to harness the power of our subconscious mind, the benefits swelled.
If there is anything we've learned over the last five years, it's about the Law of Attraction. Thanks to a movie called; The Secret, individuals just like yourself have realized that we can manipulate our own minds into creating reality. While we want you to use this for the positive aspects, some people never get away from the negative.
Have you heard of the Placebo Effect? It's a great study about the way your mind works and how it can affect the body in a positive or negative matter. When these are performed, there are two separate groups that receive medication. Group A will get the real deal, and Group B will get a placebo. This will allow researchers to observe both parties and see how their bodies react. It's amazing when you see a person take a placebo and all of the sudden they get over their ailment. They've had no medicine whatsoever, but just a positive thought process in the subconscious mind.
Have you ever had the voice in your head telling you that what you are about to do will bring problems? It happens all the time, but only a few of actually listen. A great example is those of you who have road rage. Do you yell and scream at the individuals who are driving too slow in front of you? Does that inner voice say it's going to come back to haunt you? Most likely it will, even if it's 5 or 6 hours from now.
In order to do this though, you'll have to find a goal. We really don't care what it is as long as it's something concrete and narrowed down. Maybe you just want to save $100 extra bucks a month or make it through the day without being angry, depressed, or upset. Whatever you decide is fine and making it happen will be completely up to you (even though we'll help you every step of the way).
Let's take quantum physics for example. The laws behind QP are that your mind creates everything around you. Everything you see, hear, and feel around you is made up of pure energy. Quantum physics shows that matter only exists because we observe it. This is the power of the mind!
One thing you should keep in mind though is that you can have a goal for anything. Self-improvement is one of the best things for someone to accomplish. There is just a certain feeling you get when you shed a couple pounds, tone your body, or just change your personality. Whatever the case is for you, we always recommend trying something small in the beginning. What you'll end up doing is taking advantage of affirmation to change your life.
What we want you to do right now is come up with your next goal. It doesn't matter what it is really, except we do suggest you start out with something easily attainable. In fact, let's talk about your work day. Your goal is going to be to stay positive throughout the day, even when things just aren't going so well. If you spill the coffee, shrug it off and realize it could have been worse. Someone driving too slow in front of you, then there has to be a reason for it.
One thing to keep in mind is that you're going to be hearing all kinds of thoughts throughout the day. This will cause the first few instances to be difficult when focusing on a positive matter like your next goal. Even though you might be telling yourself this is going to happen, there will be a host of other inner voices telling you why it's a mistake. Don't worry; it's normal and just part of your training.
You are going to have to deal with all the ins and outs of the subconscious mind. It's important for you to understand that you can change your life by creating everything around you. This takes us back to the theories around quantum physics again and that it truly is mind over matter. How many times have you told yourself you can't make a certain payment on time? Did you do it, or did you spend money elsewhere because you didn't think it was feasible? We could on and on, but you get the idea.
Even if you want to purchase a new home you'll have to plan. Finding different mortgage rates, checking the neighborhood safety, school district, and figuring out the how much money you'll need are all important factors. Then all of the sudden that dream home goes up on the market. The process to purchase it ends up being much easier then if you would have just kept on dreaming.
When it's all said and done you just need to take control. It's amazing that something such as giving yourself affirmation can make all the difference.
