What Exactly Is Mindpower?
Some experts believe that we actually only use about 10% of our total mind power capacity. Imagine what would happen if you could actually access the dormant and remaining 90%. We could see literally incredible results.
Scientists are in agreement that people who can use psychic abilities like remote viewing and telepathy must be doing so by somehow accessing this normally unused mindpower. Some people are apparently born able to use these abilities and others only learn to use these natural abilities later on in their lives.
The process itself is not well understood, but quantum physics' latest advances have begun to peel back the layers and show us the true blank between what we think and what we experience as our reality.
Recently, scientific studies have begun to verify what many ancient religions have said for thousands of years. That is, your reality is simply a result of your own mind. If you change how you think, you can change what you experience as reality. And in fact, mind power itself is truly the only reality present.
Current popular films like 'The Secret' have worked to explain the theory of the Law of Attraction.' With this, people have begun to realize that as they use their mind power and as they change how they see things, they can attract literally anything they want into their lives, including material abundance.
If you haven't seen it before, the Law of Attraction focuses on a 'cause and effect' relationship between us and the universe, for everything we do. Whatever you think about, in other words, you're going to get. However, if you communicate with your subconscious and tell it what you want, things can change. If you don't, your subconscious assumes that you want everything to stay just as it is now, otherwise known as 'homeostasis.'
That means that your subconscious mind is not just responsible for any 'psychic' talents you might have like remote viewing, precognition, or telepathy, but is also responsible for what happens to you because it reacts with the universe or the 'universal consciousness.' Used right, you can literally manifest anything you desire.
Affirmations:- By repeating affirmations to ourselves, they eventually reach the subconscious which then changes your behavior to make the desired outcome a reality. You can use affirmations to break bad habits with affirmations like 'I hate junk food and never eat anything bad for my health'. You could also increase your self esteem by using an affirmation along the lines of 'I am a valuable person who people look to as a role model'.
Practicing affirmations:- You probably know what an affirmation is, which is to say it's a positive phrase. Repeat it to yourself several times a day and eventually your subconscious 'gets the message' and your reality changes to match your affirmation.
So for example, let's say you need more self esteem. You may say to yourself, several times a day, 'I am happy, confident and successful.' Or, you may have a bad habit that you need to change, in which case you might say, 'I'm so glad I've quit smoking.'
Used consistently and repeatedly, affirmations really do work to change the messages your subconscious mind integrates. By communicating directly with your subconscious mind, you tell it something different and slowly over time, it believes it. And ultimately, of course, this different belief also makes you behave differently.
Taking this one stage further, realize that anything you want to change is going to change using this technique, not just bad habits you might want to change but absolutely everything you experience. This is truly the power of your mind at its best.
Using visualization:- Visualization is another technique that you can use to develop your mind power. With visualization, you imagine what you want to happen and visualize it in your mind's eye. Visualize your success and having everything you've ever wanted. Do you want a new car? Visualize it. A new house? Visualize it. You can also make a scrapbook of sorts before you visualize, putting into it pictures of things that you want to manifest in your life. The scrapbook can help you focus. Keep visualizing on a consistent basis and the things you want will really appear for you.
You can also visualize, incidentally, that you have psychic powers. For example, visualize yourself using telepathy to communicate. Or, visualize yourself with the ability to foresee the future, or to participate in remote viewing. If you use mind power in a focused and practiced fashion, whatever you want to happen will eventually occur.
Using hypnosis:- Hypnosis is another way that you can communicate with your subconscious and therefore tap into the awesome power of your mind. You can visit a professional hypnotherapist or hypnotist. The hypnotist will guide you into a deeply relaxed state and then offer suggestions to your subconscious mind that will help you change bad behaviors or beliefs, or introduce good ones. And contrary to popular belief, you'll remember what has happened to you in your trancelike state even after you have come back to your normal state.
You can also try to do what's called 'self hypnosis.' Here, you can listen to a tape recording of a hypnotist who is guiding you through a particular session. This has some advantages to live hypnotherapy sessions, in that you can listen to it over and over again, and it's also quite cost effective as compared to live hypnotherapy sessions.
Practicing brainwave entrainment:- Brainwave entrainment is a new audio technology that utilizes brainwave synchronization to change your brainwaves to a particular frequency. This can cause many positive changes. For example, one frequency can give you an improved memory, while another frequency can release natural endorphins that help you alleviate and heal pain.
