The Positive Side Of Using Mindpower


It's pretty amazing to think about: people only use around 10% of their brains daily. What could you do if you were able to access the power of the unused 90% of your brain? It appears that there are many possibilities which are not fully explored by most of us hiding right there – and a lot of mindpower going unused.

Scientists have long thought, in fact, that those who have so-called 'psychic' or extrasensory powers have them because in fact they can access parts of their minds other people cannot. They have perhaps been born with this 'extra' mind power or they've been able to develop this power of the mind in their lives.

The process is not well understood, but quantum physics' latest advances have begun to show us what the link may be between we think and what we actually experience as part of our daily lives.

That is, your reality is simply a result of your own mind, so if you change how you think, you can effect change in your reality itself. At its essence, mind power is the only true reality.

The law of attraction is essentially all about how cause and effect works in the realm of our thoughts. Like any other action we take, our thoughts can cause things to happen. When we develop our mindpower and learn how to focus these thoughts, we can use this cause to effect change in the world.

Through our subconscious minds, we can use our mindpower to channel the universe's energy and tap into our natural psychic abilities; the subconscious is a very powerful thing.

If you want to develop your mind power to its fullest potential, you need to communicate directly with your subconscious mind. How do you do this, though? There are a number ways you can do this.

Use affirmations:- Affirmations simply mean that you repeat a positive phrase several times a day to yourself, and eventually, your subconscious mind picks up on this and integrates the message into a fully formed belief.

So let's say you need more self esteem. You might say something to the effect of, 'I have very well-developed self-esteem,' or, 'I am very confident.' Eventually, as you repeat this phrase to yourself often enough, your subconscious mind comes to believe it and corrects your poor self-esteem. You may also use affirmations to change bad habits, so for example, you can say, 'I eat a healthy diet and enjoy my food,' to change a propensity to snack on junk food to one where you crave healthy food, for example.

Visualization:- This is another valuable mindpower building technique. Visualize the things which you want in your mind with your eyes closed. Focus on this image and your subconscious will pick up on the image and begin using your mindpower to make it happen. Your subconscious mind is very receptive to images, so this is a great technique to practice if you want to increase your mindpower.

Taking this one stage further, realize that anything you want to change is going to change using this technique, not just bad habits you might want to change but absolutely everything you experience. This is truly the power of your mind at its best.

Hypnosis:- Hypnosis well known for increasing mindpower, since it allows direct communication with the subconscious mind. You can see a professional hypnotist to be placed into a trance while they give mindpower-boosting suggestions to your subconscious mind. Self hypnosis is another option. By listening to a recording of a hypnotherapist's session, you can achieve the same results at a cost which is far less than visiting a professional yourself -and you can use this recording any time you like.

You can also use visualization to cement your belief that you are psychic. See yourself communicating by using telepathy, or being able to foresee future events, or to practice remote viewing. Mind power can help you accomplish anything you want to, literally.

Practicing hypnosis:- You can also communicate with your subconscious mind through hypnosis. One way to do this is to visit a hypnotherapist or professional hypnotist. When you do so, the therapist will make sure you are very relaxed and will then make suggestions to your subconscious mind that will be remembered when you come out of the hypnosis.

You can also try to do what's called 'self hypnosis.' Here, you can listen to a tape recording of a hypnotist who is guiding you through a particular session. This has some advantages to live hypnotherapy sessions, in that you can listen to it over and over again, and it's also quite cost effective as compared to live hypnotherapy sessions.

Practicing brainwave entrainment:- Brainwave entrainment is a new audio technology that utilizes brainwave synchronization to change your brainwaves to a particular frequency. This can cause many positive changes. For example, one frequency can give you an improved memory, while another frequency can release natural endorphins that help you alleviate and heal pain.

Other frequencies are used to tune your brainwaves into the frequency which causes a deep state of meditation which allows the subconscious mind to be communicated with and builds mindpower.
