If you haven't heard of it before, the Law of Attraction works on a 'cause-effect' basis. In other words, what you think about is what you will get. If you communicate with your subconscious mind and clarify what you want, you can control the results you get. If you don't do this, the universe will assume that you want to keep everything as it is, which is otherwise known as 'homeostasis.'

The key to increasing your mindpower is to make a link of communication between your conscious mind and the subconscious. There are several ways to establish this communication and through it, develop your mindpower.

If you want to develop your mind power, you'll need to communicate directly with your subconscious mind. How do you do this, though? There are a number of ways you can do this.

Practicing affirmations:- You probably know what an affirmation is, which is to say it's a positive phrase. Repeat it to yourself several times a day and eventually your subconscious 'gets the message' and your reality changes to match your affirmation.

So let's say you need more self-esteem. You might say to yourself something to the effect of, 'I have plenty of confidence,' or 'I'm very happy and confident.' Or, you may want to nip a bad habit in the bud and replace it with something else. So if you're trying to lose weight, for example, you can say, 'I always eat good healthy foods to help me stay at a healthy weight.'

Done consistently and repetitiously, affirmations do indeed work to change the behavior at hand. Affirmations work by communicating directly with your subconscious mind, which ultimately changes what your subconscious mind actually does for you. In short, it ultimately makes you behave and think differently.

Now, let's take this one stage further. Realize that what you want to change is going to change -- and not just any bad habits you want to go away and to be replaced with good ones, but everything you experience as your reality. This is indeed true mind power.
