Minds are like great big magnets. They can have a positive attraction and a negative attraction. What you think about, what makes you feel strongly, is what you pull into your life, and this principle is called the Law of Attraction. Most people do not realize how powerful their mind is. According to research, people only use 10% of their actual brain power. That means 90% is going to waste! Visualization is done by sitting quietly and using your mind to imagine all of the things you would like to have in your world. Let your mind create picture images of those things. Anyone can use the visualization technique to bring these desires into their subconscious mind. The subconscious mind will then bring them into the world. Hold positive images in your mind and you will have positive results; hold negative images and you will have negative results. Plan ahead what you want to do before you begin your visualization practice.
In fact, write down your positive ideas and thoughts of your ideal life in a story like format. Talk about your goals and your dreams and what you would like your life to be like. You want to be able to remember as much as possible when you begin the visualization exercise so write down as many details as you can. Do these several times a day until it begins to feel so real that you begin to believe in your dreams.
Another way to increase your mind power is through the use of affirmations. Affirmations are statements you make to lift your spirits. They are always positive and always make you feel good. As you repeat them you feel encouraged and positive about life. This exercise will help you fell positive about life. For example you may want to lose weight. So you tell yourself throughout the day such things as, I am so happy that I will be 10 pounds thinner by the end of the month. You state it as if you expect it to be true and it will be true. If you feel uncomfortable at first, don’t worry. After repeating the exercise for 28 days it will become a habit.
Another way to develop more mind power is by using brainwave entrainment. This involves the synchronization of brainwaves and uses dissimilar frequencies by audio technology. Our brains can do several things at once quite naturally. It has the power to heal itself, for example. Using advanced audio technology this can create enhanced ability to do so. It also can improve memory and awaken our natural psychic powers. Mind power can be greatly enhanced through the use of these different frequencies. This is an advanced method of expanding mind power but it brings amazing results.
Another means of expanding your mind power is through hypnosis. It reduces tension and resistance allowing access to your subconscious mind. Many people have used hypnosis to quit smoking because it works. The process simply involves repeated sessions where the person sits quietly relaxing and listening to the hypnotist tell them over and over that they want to quit smoking, that they do not have the urge to smoke, they want to and can quit and they do.
