How Do You Explain Mind Power?
If we believe in something strongly enough, will occur. What we can imagine, we will bring to us as our minds have the power of a magnet. This is known as the law of attraction. It is a potent function of the mind. Think, feel and believe you are going to have a wonderful life, and you will begin to create it. This is something you must practice, but when you work to imagine what you want to achieve, then it can begin to occur. The mind is an amazing and powerful entity.
While all this is true, most of us can't get past the negative aura of the past. You've probably spent several years trying to overcome that negativity with no positive results. Even if there have been successful moments in your life, most of the negative ones end up being more memorable. What it comes down to though is people just don't like change. When life can be simplified, many individuals believe this is enough. Unfortunately this isn't the case, and it's time to make a change.
Your mind is the filter through which you see the real world; what you perceive and make yourself aware of is what you act upon. If you make your attitude positive, you'll notice more positive outcomes, and you can use the power of your mind to draw more beneficial results to you. All you need to do is think on what you want to achieve and let that guide your actions, so every step you take is towards the furthering of the goal.
Visualization is the key to tapping your unused mental powers. This powerful technique is simple to describe, but runs counter to most people's native skepticism: Visualize the success you want to have and work backwards to visualize the steps you need to go to to make that success happen.
At its heart, visualization is sitting down and creating images and pictures within your mind. This can help you focus on what needs to be done, and can get your subconscious mind working on the goal as well. The subconscious mind will steer a lot of what you do in day to day life; it's the final arbiter of what people like and don't like and how they succeed in life. By keeping your mental focus positive, you can use the Law of Attraction and your native mind power to bring positive events into focus for your subconscious.
In fact, write down your positive ideas and thoughts of your ideal life in a story like format. Talk about your goals and your dreams and what you would like your life to be like. You want to be able to remember as much as possible when you begin the visualization exercise so write down as many details as you can. Do these several times a day until it begins to feel so real that you begin to believe in your dreams.
Affirmations are another excellent means of increasing your mind power. An affirmation is a positive statement you make about your life as you go through your day. They are statements that encourage you and they can be about anything as long as they are positive. Using an affirmation to increase the power of your mind to bring about weight loss will look something like this: It will feel so good to be 10 pounds thinner by the end of the month. As you state what you expect to be true, it will eventually become true. It may feel a bit uncomfortable at first but if you do anything consistently for 28 days it becomes a habit.
Another way to develop more mind power is by using brainwave entrainment. This involves the synchronization of brainwaves and uses dissimilar frequencies by audio technology. Our brains can do several things at once quite naturally. It has the power to heal itself, for example. Using advanced audio technology this can create enhanced ability to do so. It also can improve memory and awaken our natural psychic powers. Mind power can be greatly enhanced through the use of these different frequencies. This is an advanced method of expanding mind power but it brings amazing results.
Some of you may even enjoy things like Hypnosis to get that mind power flowing. A great example of this is when people want to quit smoking. They've tried Nicorette, prescription drugs, cold turkey, and everything else under the sun to no avail. So when all else fails, the next step is Hypnosis.
