Extra Sensory Powers And Mind Power
The first thing we need to get out of the way is that your mind is like a magnet. Whatever it thinks, or even sees it will eventually attract. Most of you know this as the Law of Attraction. It's where you let the mind believe that something is going to happen (whether positive or negative) and then it does. However, it's one of the best ways to get everything you want out of life. If you can think it, feel it and envision it first, then it will be so. Just keep in mind it takes a little practice.
The Law of Attraction works even if you don't believe in it. Whether you choose to use your mind power positively or not is up to you; we only use 10% of our brain's capacity for conscious thought, the rest is a well of untapped unconscious potential, and you're using it now whether you admit to it or not – and people who find fault in everything tend to use it to pull more trouble to them.
Your life as it is today is a reflection of your thinking. What happens in your mind appears in your life because it is what you conceive and believe. What some people call psychic power or ESP actually refers to things that can be created using some of the unused brain power lying wasted. Think about something you want to have happen in your life, then put the power of your mind to use bringing it in to reality. If you believe in negative things, you will bring negative things. If you believe in positive events, then they can occur.
If you would like to begin to use more of your mind power, there are some things you can do. One such step you can take is to begin to use visualization. This is a very powerful tool that can have a large impact on your mind power and begin to improve your ability to bring more of what you want into your life.
Visualization is done by sitting quietly and using your mind to imagine all of the things you would like to have in your world. Let your mind create picture images of those things. Anyone can use the visualization technique to bring these desires into their subconscious mind. The subconscious mind will then bring them into the world. Hold positive images in your mind and you will have positive results; hold negative images and you will have negative results. Plan ahead what you want to do before you begin your visualization practice.
It may be helpful to write down your ideas like a story of what your ideal life. What are your goals? What are your dreams and visions? Be as specific as possible and write everything down so that you will remember what you have discovered. Repeat this process a couple of times each day until it begins to feel real and you begin to truly believe in your dreams.
Another way to increase your mind power is through the use of affirmations. Affirmations are statements you make to lift your spirits. They are always positive and always make you feel good. As you repeat them you feel encouraged and positive about life. This exercise will help you fell positive about life. For example you may want to lose weight. So you tell yourself throughout the day such things as, I am so happy that I will be 10 pounds thinner by the end of the month. You state it as if you expect it to be true and it will be true. If you feel uncomfortable at first, don’t worry. After repeating the exercise for 28 days it will become a habit.
One training process that can be interesting is the use of brainwave entertainment. This is where you listen to some sort of audio frequencies to change those thoughts in your mind to positive ones. The mind is one of the best healing utilities your body has and if you can train the mind properly, you can increase this relentlessly. Maybe you've spent the last couple years forgetting more than you're remembering and need a little memory boost. If you use brainwave entertainment, then it will open up that mind power. The only problem about this avenue is that it's an advanced procedure and should only be done after you perfect those beginning stages.
Some of you may even enjoy things like Hypnosis to get that mind power flowing. A great example of this is when people want to quit smoking. They've tried Nicorette, prescription drugs, cold turkey, and everything else under the sun to no avail. So when all else fails, the next step is Hypnosis. All you do is go to a session, relax, and listen to someone tell you the same thing over and over again. Eventually they get the person to believe in themselves and convince them they can kick the habit. The mind is simply a wonderful thing if you know how to open it up.
As can be seen, everyone has mind power. It's a matter of belief in what one can do, with their own abilities and positive affirmations. You can use this ability to change your circumstances and rewrite your future to one you want to see happen. It won't happen over night, and it takes some repetition to make it all work, but the effort pays off in the end.
