Mind Over Matter - A Strange Myth?

It's difficult for some people to believe that they can change their circumstances to whatever they want. If you're like most people, you would believe that your current lot in life is the one you are stuck with. What exactly is meant by 'mind over matter'?

The truth is, everything can be put down to mind over matter. We all have the capacity to master our own mind power. You just need to know how to do it.

Think about your current circumstances. You might be in a job you hate or struggling financially or worried about your relationship, or lack of it. Each of these aspects of your life are there as a result of your own choices. This means your mind created those circumstances for you. It's hard to think about some of the negative things around you right now as being a result of 'mind over matter', but it's true.

Now think about your current situation. How many times a day do you worry about not having enough money? Do you constantly put yourself down about not being able to lose weight? Are you in a job you hate? Every time your mind tells yourself these negative things, you're telling your sub-conscious that you want it to focus on these things.

If you could master the mind over matter powers that could bring you more of the good things and less of the negative things, would you be interested?

A good example would be to use mind over matter techniques by repeating to yourself several times a day something that you may not believe, such as "I love my job, my co-workers, and my boss".

When your sub-conscious is aware of the positive reality you want, your choices will be influenced by more positive actions, which lead naturally to more positive outcomes.

A good way to begin putting the power of mind over matter to work for you is to repeat to yourself several times a day 'I love my job, I'm losing weight easily and money comes easily to me'. At first, you will automatically disbelieve these things. You will be tempted to feel as though they aren't true and they won't happen, but you'll be slowly programming your mind to accept choices that will result in more positive outcomes.

You will begin to see that everything in your life is mind over matter once you take a step back and think about your previous choices and decisions. Take for example a person who has been through a violent or abusive relationship. If those people have been told repeatedly they are fat or stupid or useless, eventually they'll believe it. Their self-esteem will come crashing down.

If you want a more successful job then spend time to repeat affirmations to yourself daily. Tell yourself you deserve a higher paying, happier job. If you want a happier relationship, tell yourself often that you deserve a happier relationship. No matter what you want your life to look like, you can change the outcomes by programming your sub-conscious mind to look for the results you want.

The mind can do amazing things. Scientists believe that humans use only 10% of their brain power. The remaining 90% is sitting latent in your skull, waiting for an opportunity to exert the power to create a life of abundance and joy.

You'll be living a life full of abundance and joy once you've learned to master mind over matter techniques.
