Minds are like magnets, and yours is a powerful one. What it thinks and sees, it will eventually attract; this relationship between the mind and reality is called the Law of Attraction, and it’s one of the greatest manifestations in the world of the mind altering reality. You can use the Law of Attraction to change your personal fortune, and your relationship with money. It’s about the power of belief and believing that something good will happen rather than letting life roll you downstream like a pebble in the current.
We only use about 10% of our minds. It is hard to believe that so much of it is being wasted every day of our lives. We do things the easy way, the way that appears right in front of us not realizing how powerful our minds really are. We complain that our lives are hard and unfulfilling because we do not believe that anything good can happen to us. Because we think negatively we attract more of the same into our lives and create what we don’t want. What we think is what our life becomes.
Your life as it is today is a reflection of your thinking. What happens in your mind appears in your life because it is what you conceive and believe. What some people call psychic power or ESP actually refers to things that can be created using some of the unused brain power lying wasted. Think about something you want to have happen in your life, then put the power of your mind to use bringing it in to reality. If you believe in negative things, you will bring negative things. If you believe in positive events, then they can occur.
There are some things you can begin to do today to use your mind power more fully. One way to do this is through visualization. Visualization is a powerful tool that can have a noticeable impact on your day to day life. In the process it will expand your mind power and enhance your ability to bring the things you want into your life.
Visualization is easy. All it requires is for you to sit quietly and begin to create images and pictures in your mind of those things you want to bring into reality. It helps bring these images into your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is what will actually bring these images to life. Make sure the images you hold in your mind are positive images. Think a little bit about how you actually want your life before you begin your visualization practice.
Another benefit is to write down everything on a piece of paper. You can make it factual; write a story, or anything that will help you reach your goals. If you do write something down, it’s important to make a visualization of everything. Once you learn to do this several times throughout the day, those thoughts will become a reality in the back of your mind.
Affirmations are another important technique. Anything that helps boost your positive self image is a worthwhile tool for getting the Law of Attraction to work for you. Think of them as giving yourself an encouraging boost. Keep telling yourself that you’ll meet a particular goal, like losing 10 pounds in a month, and you’ll eventually believe it and it’ll become a habit.
Your mind power can also be improved by simple training. This is brainwave synchronization through listening to specific tones through a set of earphones. This can help your brain heal itself, be used to teach you things (like language vocabulary) while you sleep and even to enhance your memory. It all depends on the different frequencies and what inputs you give your subconscious mind.
Last but certainly not least we want to cover hypnosis. Probably the most common subject amongst individuals taking on hypnosis is people who want to quit smoking. When everything else fails they turn to something they sometimes don’t believe in, but hope it works. However, the session will make them relax and listen to someone give them positive thoughts over and over again. Eventually they start believing in themselves because someone else is telling them to start doing it. The difference in this case is that they can’t defend themselves when they’re hypnotized.
Everyone has mind power, and it’s just a matter of harnessing it. The way to take control of your life is to believe in the power of positive thinking and to let the Law of Attraction work for you under your conscious and subconscious direction. It won’t happen overnight, but there are significant benefits to be had. The only thing holding you back is your mind.
